SRA Family Keeps Growing

Picture
SRA is happy to introduce a new member to the team, Evan Gallitelli.
Evan studied architecture at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture.

Between semesters he focused his energy working for a carpenter in Altamont on various construction projects including residential and commercial work.

His senior year at UMass he was offered a position as lead designer, performing the digital reconstruction of St. Paul’s Basilica in Rome, Italy. He spent 4 years under Nicola Camerlenghi modeling the pre-existing conditions of the Basilica which lead to the publication “St. Paul’s Outside the Walls” as well as a website providing virtual interaction for the public. After completing that project, he continued his career in Albany for 1.5 years as an architectural designer.

He is now investing his future with SRA-Syvertsen Rigosu Architects and excited as he works towards his Architectural license.
Evan enjoys just about all outdoor activities such as archery, hiking, fishing, and golf. He is a NY Knicks fan and roots for McLaren Formula 1 Racing Team.

Drawing, creating and helping others is what makes this career he’s chosen so fulfilling and rewarding.

SRA Launches the New Logo

Picture
SRA is very proud to announce the launch of the new firm logo as part of the ongoing evolution of our company.

Our business has evolved over the years, and we felt it was time to refresh our logo to reflect who we are today and to symbolize our future.

We designed a logo that reflects a more modern look and captures our mission to deliver excellent quality, performance, and service support across the projects we participate in.

In our name, the 'S' stands for "Syvertsen," Kenneth, Founder of the firm in 1998, the 'R' stands for "Rigosu," Dennis, Partner of Kenneth since 2011, and the 'A' stands for architects. The design has a  simple looking structure with a background of a navy-blue color for a more minimalist look. Taking this approach of re-branding to bring the design more in line with the aesthetics and portray flexibility. The use of the dark tangerine color for the letter A indicates the transition and improvement that we are focusing on. This implication is implied everywhere from our internal strategy to the delivery of our projects.

We are also glad to introduce our business line "Innovative Solutions" to create a clear picture of our vision and identifies the core focus of our firm to find solutions to all of the problems to become both a pleasing aesthetic and functional.
